Tracy Anderson is a fitness and dance guru for celebs. With 10 years experience of extensive research training and a background of dance, Tracy has devised her own method to totally transform the body. You only have to look at her to see how this works.

Tracy has transformed the bodies of celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Anniston, Shikera and Courtney Cox. She has studios in LA and New York.

Fast Weight Loss – Tips and Techniques:

Do you have a special occasion coming up? Would you like to fit into that special outfit and just have a few pounds to go? Do you need to lose weight fast, if yes, you may want to continue reading.

Although fast weight loss is usually not recommended, it can help kick start a longer term weight loss regime or it may be a bit of a confidence booster. The first thing I would recommend when trying to lose weight is consult your doctor to ensure you get a full physical examination first.

In order to lose weight fast you must think of the following; what you eat, how you eat, exercise and mindset.

Begin by changing your lifestyle and find a diet plan that suits your lifestyle.
Be realistic set small targets and aim to stick to them. Big achievements can be made with baby steps.

Start exercising. Should it only be taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Begin by walking slowly and work your way up to power walking or jogging. Walking alone when added to your diet can increase weight loss by 2lbs per week. Dance, swim or any other type of exercise you want to do, but make sure you enjoy it. This way you will stick to it. Replace coffee with green tea. Coffee can cause your body to become dehydrated

Diet Review - The Grapefruit Diet

I came across this diet a few years ago. It promises to help you lose weight fast. The only results I got from this was feeling ill, bad breath and headaches. If anyone had success with this diet, I would be more than glad to hear from you, but to date, I have not heard of anyone being successful with this.

The Grapefruit Diet:

How much will you lose:

In 2 1/2 months you should lose 52 pounds.

The Rules:

You must drink eight 8oz. glasses of water daily (64 oz. total per day).
At any meal you may eat until you are full.
You must eat the minimum listed at each meal.
You cannot eliminate anything from the diet. Especially the bacon at breakfast and the salads. You must eat the bacon and salads. These combinations of food burn the fat, omitting one part of the combination will cause the whole thing not to work.
The grapefruit or fruit juice is important because it acts as a catalyst that starts the burning process. Don't add or reduce the amount of grapefruit or juice.
Cut down on coffee, it affects the insulin balance that hinders the burning process.
Try to limit to 1 cup at meal time.
Don't eat between meals. If you eat the suggested foods you will not get hungry.
You can fry food in butter and use butter generously on vegetables.
Do not eat desserts, breads, and white vegetables or sweet potatoes.
You may double or triple helpings of meat, salad or vegetables.
Eat until you are stuffed.
The more you eat the more weight you will lose.
Stay on the diet 12 days, then stop the diet for 2 days and repeat.

Do not eat the following foods on this diet:
White onions, potatoes, celery, peas, cereal, corn, starchy veg, potato chips, peanut butter, pasta, corn chips, jelly, sweet pickles, jam, fruit, pretzels, low fat, fat free or diet salad dressings.


You can eat the following foods on this diet:
Red onions, bell peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, green onions, cabbage, tomatoes, leaf spinach, green beans, lettuce, radishes, chilli (no beans), mayonnaise, any cheese, hot dogs, coleslaw, regular salad dressing, green veg, dried nuts and dill.


Diet Plan:

Breakfast:
· Either 1/2 grapefruit OR 8 oz. juice (unsweetened) · 2 eggs any style · 2 slices of bacon

Lunch:
· Either 1/2 grapefruit OR 8 oz. juice (unsweetened) · Salad with any dressing · Meat any style and any amount.

Dinner:
· Either 1/2 grapefruit OR 8 oz. juice (unsweetened) · Salad with any dressing OR a red or green vegetable cooked in butter or spices. · Meat or even Fish any style cooked any way. · Coffee or Tea (1 cup)

Bedtime Snack:
· 8oz. glass of tomato juice or 8 oz cup of skim milk.

Be Happy and Positive

Happiness is an emotion, just like sadness. Positive thinking is a choice just like negative thinking is. So why is it so much harder for some people to think positive happy thoughts than negative worrisome thoughts?

How are you feeling right now? Are you happy or sad? Are you angry and upset or is life going pretty good for you. Are you smiling, singing or whistling or do you feel like you want to cry and just need a hug?

I know it is easy to fall into the negative when things are not going right you. But thoughts are very powerful. So if you find yourself in a “bad” mood, why not stop yourself and think of one good thing in your life to be grateful for. Have you ever heard people saying “I am having a bad day”. Once you start to affirm you are having a “bad day”, things just seem to go from bad to worse. But when you are having a “good day”, life just seems wonderful.

When you look at what is working in your life and you are happy, the vibration or signal you are transmitting is positive. So how about just for today start your day by affirming to yourself that you are happy. A few simple affirmations can totally change how your day goes. If you look for reasons to be happy, laugh or smile, you will find them. Why not write down or think of 3 things in your life right now you are grateful for. Maybe it’s your health, your family, your dog or cat. The list is endless. Go on you can think of something, right!

So my affirmations for today are as follows…
